Allow the pidgeon feeders back into Trafalgar Square! It was a massively traditional, landmark experience of old London that has now been thwarted. Such a simple pleasure should be allowed to continue and thrive. (And especially in times of economic difficulty: London should gladly facilitate easy, effective tourist attractions like this.)
