a very smart idea :) cashes in on existing infrastructure and makes for a very smooth, vehicular free ride...takes cycling off the road for the bulk of the trip and has to encourage more cyclists who hold a commuting fear (i.e impending doom brought on by cars and other vehicles in close proximity)
